Mike Petersen
Mike’s career began with Fraggle Rock. Theatre credits include productions with Mermaid Theatre, Neptune Theatre, the Edinburgh Puppet Company, Teatr Arlekin (Poland), Theatre Direct, and Theatre Beyond Words. Film and television credits include Labyrinth, Murdoch Mysteries, The Mighty Jungle, Toopy & Binoo, Miss Persona, Go Togo, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. As a director, Mike works with TAP: Teaching Awareness Through Puppetry. Teaching credits include work with Graham Whitehead (Mermaid Theatre), Allen MacInnis (YPT), Lynda Hill (WeeFest), and Seanna Kennedy (Avenue Q, Canadian premiere). Mike is an original cast member of Old Man and the River (WeeFest). Most recently, Mike wrote, designed, built, and performed A Short History of Niagara (Shaw Festival).
