David Bradshawe

David trained for 3 years at the Birmingham School of Speech Training and Dramatic Art in England. His career as an actor included contracts with the BBC Radio Drama companies including the classic “Lord Of The Rings” radio trilogy. Productions of Sondheim’s Into The Woods, Assassin’s, Shakespeare’s A Comedy Of Errors and King Lear, An original cast member of the comic farce, Laugh? I Nearly Went to Miami, Bless The Bride directed by Martin Charnin who wrote Annie, The Marquis DeSade in Marat/Sade and playing the loveable rogue Toad in a national tour of Wind in The Willows. He began travelling as a parallel career in the 1980’s as a Flight Attendant with T.I.A. an American Charter company. After an ill fated London production of G.B.Shaw’s Great Catherine he received an invitation to join P&O Cruises.His first ship was the Sea Princess followed by the much loved Canberra. He first joined Princess Cruises in 1993 on the old Regal Princess before returning to P&O to join a world cruise on the Canberra in 1994. Upon it’s completion he returned to land to continue a diverse acting , teaching, directing and writing career. David returned to the sea in 2002 with Crystal Cruises onboard the Crystal Symphony before being invited to be an inaugural member of the entertainment team onboard the Queen Mary 2 and later becoming her Cruise Director for one month! He returned to Princess Cruises in 2007 as a Cruise Director on his old ship The Regal Princess thus coming full circle! He remained with the company until 2015 and sailed on 5 other ships within her fleet. Other ship experiences include Oceania, Paul Gauguin, RCCL and the boutique ships of Azamara, Saga Cruises and Atlas Ocean Voyages. In Toronto he enjoyed being a member of The LOT  in productions of The Live Radio Production of It’s A Wonderful Life, Mary Poppins and Willy Wonka. TV appearances include Suits, Clarice, Schitt’s Creek, Eastenders, Angels and independent radio productions. He returns to Cabaret the musical and Schultz after playing him 10 years ago.
