We’re auditioning adult performers for our upcoming production of 

Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Directed by Alan Kinsella.  Musical Direction by Robert Popoli.  Choreography by Adam Sergison.

• Cast Type: Ensemble / Multiple Roles
• Dance Requirement: Dance is required; some roles more demanding.
• Vocal Requirement: As Indicated

This is the heartwarming story that has enchanted audiences for generations!

Audiences will be transported into a colourful world where Joseph’s extraordinary coat sets the stage for an epic journey that changes everything. It’s a timeless tale of dreams, adventure, and triumph!

• ALL THOSE AUDITIONING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR ALL ROLES
  All roles, including the brothers, are open to anyone, regardless of ethnicity, gender identity or expression. We encourage you to bring your authentic self to the audition as we aim to create a vibrant, diverse, and dynamic cast that reflects the spirit of our production.

You may, however, also request to audition for these specific roles:

• Joseph – Tenor

• Narrator – Soprano Belt

• Pharaoh – Baritone

• Potiphar/Jacob – Baritone

• Judah – Tenor

• Reuben – Baritone

Auditions 

Auditions will be in-person only October 21 in Toronto ( Spadina & Bloor / Spadina Station).  

Only those selected for an audition will be contacted. Auditions will take place after a dance call.

• Rehearsals:  In person in Toronto from November 4 – Dec 6.  (4 part-time weeks, no rehearsals Nov 10-17 ), with tech rehearsal starting December 2, leading into the opening on December 7.  Rehearsal schedule will be slightly flexible based on availability, but will generally be Mon-Thurs 6pm-11pm.

• Performance Dates: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in Toronto from Dec. 7 – Jan 12. Performances are approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. 

• Vaccine Requirement: We require all performers and crew to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to participate in this production.

• Compensation: $6000 for the project, inclusive of rehearsal and performances.
