We are holding auditions for select roles in our upcoming production of Million Dollar Quartet.

We are currently seeking adult performers for the roles of Elvis and Jay.

Elvis Presley (Guitar) – Male-presenting, 20s-30s. Must embody Elvis’s signature voice, charisma, and movement. Strong rock vocals and guitar skills required.

Jay (Upright Bass) – Male-presenting, 20s-40s. Must be a skilled upright bassist with rockabilly/jazz experience. Some vocals preferred but not required.
Auditions
Auditions will be by video submission only. Only those selected for follow-up will be contacted.
- Rehearsals: In person in Toronto from February 17 – March 17. (4 part-time weeks). Rehearsal schedule will be slightly flexible based on availability, but will generally take place Mon, Tue, Thur, Sun.
- Performance Dates: Tech March 20, with 4 performances March 21, 22, 23 in Collingwood Ontario. Performances are approximately 2 hours. Transportaion and accommodations provided.
- Vaccine Requirement: We require all performers and crew to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to participate in this production.
- Compensation: $2500 for the project, inclusive of rehearsal and performances.

On December 4, 1956, a twist of fate brought together Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley at the Sun Records’ storefront studio in Memphis, Tennessee. Million Dollar Quartet captures the contagious spirit, freewheeling excitement, and thrilling sounds of that historic jam session.
