We are auditioning all roles for our upcoming production of
First Date
A hilarious musical comedy about modern dating, overthinking, and a blind date that goes completely off the rails.
When overthinking newbie Aaron meets confident, been-there-done-that Casey for a drink, a simple first date turns into a full-blown mental spiral. Text-message anxiety, emotional baggage, and that little voice in your head saying “do not say that” all show up uninvited as friends, exes, parents, and worst-case scenarios chime in at exactly the wrong moment.

Submission requirements
A song of your choice that shows your range (a minute and a half in length) and a short comedic monologue or scene of your choice.

Rehearsals
In person in Toronto part-time between January 19 – February 8. Rehearsal schedule will be slightly flexible based on availability, but will generally take place Wednesday to Sunday, between 1PM and 9PM.
Performance Dates
In person in Collingwood, Ontario. Tech Feruary 11-12 leads into performances Friday, Saturday, and Sunday February 13-15. Performances are approximately 90 minutes.
Compensation
$2500 for the project, inclusive of rehearsals and one weekend of performances. Out of town professional transporation and accommodations provided.
